Сьогодні ми розпочинаємо тему "Великобританія". Спочатку переглянемо загально відомі факти про цю загадкову, оповиту туманами країну. Виконавши декілька вправ, дізнаємося чимало нового про географію та природу Великобританії. Заодно, попрактикуємо вживання артиклів. Розпочинаємо!
1. Let`s play the vocabulary game topractise the pronunciation of the following words. If you don`t know these words, write down them and translate. (Пограйте в гру, практикуючи вимову слів. Прослухайте кожне слово / фразу та знайдіть їх відповідники. Якщо якісь слова вам не відомі, запишіть їх до словничків та перекладіть)
2. Read the article (ex. 2, p.131 - 132). Six sentences are missing. Choose from the sentences A-G the one which fits each gap 1-6. There is one extra sentence. (Вставте пропущені речення)3. Look through the article again and answer the questions in written form. Ex. 3, p. 132. Write in your copybook.
4. Grammar Time. Article the with Geographical Names. Read the information about using articles with geographical names p. 133 Grammar Lab. Now look through the article again and write out: seas, oceans, rivers; mountains; cities.
